K2 is owned by Rich Zwiebel and Deb Britton, both incredibly smart, forward-thinking people. Rich changed the DSP world when he created the concept that led to MediaMatrix. And they followed that up as the creators of CobraNet. The company has an amazing depth and breadth of experience designing acoustics, sound, video and theatrical lighting systems for many different types of facilities.

Every ChurchSoundcheck member will recognize the name Ray Rayburn. What you may not remember is that Ray is a Senior Consultant at K2. He also chairs the AES Standards Subcommittee on Interconnections, has served on other standards committees as well, and was a contributing author to the Handbook for Sound Engineers.

So you can imagine my excitement when they called to ask if I would be interested in joining their team! That phone call was truly an answer to prayer. By coming alongside K2, I'm able to significantly expand my design capabilities and increase my productivity. Plus they're just great people.

So it's still me designing and driving my projects, and my heart as always to deliver the best possible systems for my clients, still respecting their budget realities, but now backed with some of the most amazing, talented, forward-thinking people and resources on the planet. Of course, my primary focus will continue to be with churches.
